South End Real Estate

To the south of Back Bay lies Boston’s South End neighborhood. A neighborhood like setting, the South End consists of many, shorter tree-lined streets with numerous brick rowhouses and parks dating back to the mid to late 1800’s. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and preserved by the South End Historical Society and Landmarks Commission, the neighborhood is well preserved and maintains its historic character.

Due to the historic architecture, location in Boston, arts and restaurants, the South End today has become very popular. Young professionals, couples and empty nesters have all flocked to the area in search of an exciting neighborhood to call home. Following the popularity, the area has had many buildings renovated and every last parcel available for development has been swept up to cater to the demand.
